RescueVoice was developed by Dennis Doherty. In his thirty-three years as a Paramedic with King County Medic One, he saw a growing problem in the community. Rescuers needed a product that provided emergency contact information for patients but also provided the rescuer with more medical background. Dennis became frustrated with the lack of solutions for such a critical problem and set out to solve it on his own. about
In early 2000, Dennis with the support of his wife, a Registered Nurse of thirty-two years, developed a product that would allow the medically vulnerable to communicate essential health needs. During early beta testing of this new product Dennis realized that to increase quality and decrease cost, the product could not rely on a third party telecom provider. In order to move his new product forward, Dennis joined with Emmett Lenihan.
about
Emmett was also searching for a product that would solve the same problems Dennis encountered everyday as a paramedic. With a history of medical problems Emmett feared a time when he would be unable to communicate his medical history. Out of this partnership, the unique product, RescueVoice was constructed. No other product available provides the ease of use and versatility of RescueVoice while providing peace of mind for the individual.
